Moses Jazon Auckland died at his home, 13 Clark street, Wednesday night after a prolonged illness, aged 66 years. He was born in Thom, England, September 9, 1854, and had been a resident of Perry for the past twenty five years. He was employed by the Robeson Cutlery Co., for a number of years and was a valued and faithful employee.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the house, Rev. J. W. McGavern of the M.E. church officiating.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, James of Meriden, Conn.; Arthur of Andover and Clarence and Tracy of this place. Two step-daughters, Mrs. W.W. Ayres of Rochester and Miss Bessie Murnan also survive.
