Mrs. Robbie Lee Palmer Queen of Geneva, Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 08, 2012. She was 92.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Scott Crooms officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.

Mrs. Queen was born September 21, 1920, in Geneva County to the late James Matthew and Tinnie Estelle Kelly Palmer. She was a very dedicated Christian and was of the Baptist faith. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents her husband and father of her children, M.C. Hollis, Jr., her second husband, Johnny Amerson and her third husband, B. G. Queen, as well as three siblings, James Henry Palmer, Ellen Ruth White and Betty Jean Jordan, all preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons: Don Hollis, Catawba, SC, Bobby Hollis, St. Petersburg, FL and Kenny Hollis, Chipley, FL; two sisters: Dot Mowrey, Valdosta, GA and Jane Davis, Geneva; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
