Jane was born in Denver Colorado, on September 16, 1935 to parents Cyril James and Lola Colantha Down. She married her high school sweetheart Roger Roll on November 29, 1953. They settled and raised their family in West Seattle, where Jane was active teaching Sunday School, singing in Seattle Chorale and Choir, as well as Leadership in Bible Study Fellowship. They relocated to Enumclaw after retiring where Jane enjoyed the beauty and small town community. Her passion was sharing her unwavering faith in God with others, gardening, gifting books to others, and finding beauty in God's Creation.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband Roger Roll and sister Joyce Hihn.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Ravenberg & husband Jeff, Rebecca Crandall & husband Steve, and Victoria Whisler & husband Ryck; her grand children Brandon Whisler & wife Lindsey, Bethany Ellis & husband D.J., Devon Whisler, Aharon Poorman, Amberae Poorman, Sean Feeder, Joshua Crandall & wife Haley, and Joanna Crandall; and great grand children Brianna Ellis, Alliah Ellis, Taylor Crandall, Ben Crandall, and Jenson Crandall.
