Harry H. Rahn, 86, formerly of 2119 Huntleigh Road died at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Hospital.
Mr. Rahn was born in Garrett and lived in Springfield for most of his life. He was employed by Central Illinois Public Service Company from 1916 until the time of retirement in 1958. His wife, Rose, preceded him in death on March 21, 1979. Mr. Rahn was a veteran of World War I and a member and past commander of American Legion Post 32. He was also a member of Central Baptist Church and the Noon Lions Club.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Robert W. Becker, Carl H. Becker, Marietta Ruzes and Helen Hellner, all of Springfield.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bisch Memorial Home, with Dr. Roger Compton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
