Ruth E. Sensenig, 88, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., No. 219, New Holland, died unexpectedly Sunday evening at Communite Hospital of Lancaster. She was under a physician's care.

Mrs. Sensenig retired in 1976 from the former Sperry New Holland after 10 years in the bulk mail room.

For 55 years, she was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, New Holland, where
she belonged to the Truth Seekers Sunday school class. She also was the cradle roll superintendent for many years and served in her early years, with her husband, as sexton of the church.

She had been active with Meals on Wheels, New Holland, for many years and was a member of Blue Ball Sunshine Club and New Holland Senior Citizens. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, crossword puzzles and marbles.

Born in East Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late Jacob G. and Anna Mary Stauffer Bowman.

She was married to Paul M. Sensenig for 65 years on Oct. 25.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter: Janet S., married, to Norm Ziemer of East Earl; a son: Carl B., married to Holly H. Mills Sensenig of Norristown; eight grandchild-
ren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Della Geigley of Ephrata.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julianne Carson; two brothers, Willis Bowman and Silas Bowman; and two sisters, Emma Lichty and Elmeda Martin.
