Born in Greenwood, August 25, 1935, he was a son of the late Bruce Washington Morrow and Sarah Morrow Corley. A US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War, Mr. Morrow was retired from Professional Medical Products (now Covidien) after more than thirty years service.
A member of Harris Baptist Church, he was a member of the Masters Disciples Sunday School Class. He was also a member of Bascomb Masonic Lodge #363.
Mr. Morrow was preceded in death by step-father, Ray Corley; and sister, JoAnne Morrow Pate.
Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty-eight years of the home are six children, Kelley Heman and fiancé Ronnie Powell, Barry Morrow, Libby Woods and fiance Mark Martin, Gloria Brown and husband John, Jackie Briggs and husband Donald and Tina Tolson and husband Raymond; two brothers, Herman and Ray Morrow; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12 Noon from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Frank Thomas officiating. Burial with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Henry Bishop, Otis Gray, Danny Burroughs, Bo Weeks, Eddie Dalton, Ernest Fuller and David Morrow.
Honorary escort will be members of Bascomb Masonic Lodge # 363.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
