Dorothy Nadine Lash, 73, of Florence, Ala., passed away Dec. 6, 2012, in Taylor, Mich. Mrs. Lash was a homemaker, a Pentecostal and a member of Odem's Chapel Community Church.
Survivors include sons, Billy Joe Lash and wife, Wanda, of Taylor, Mich., and Jimmy Dean Lash and wife, Mary, of Taylor, Mich.; fosther daughter, Leah Carroll, of Greenhill; sister, Shirley Woolum; grandchildren, Michelle Lash, of Huntington, Ind., Allen, Christopher and Sarah Lash, of Taylor, Mich., Brandon and Stephen Laural, of Greenhill, Jason and Jamie Torres, of Taylor, Mich.; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mattie Myrick Gamble; and her husband, Gentry LeRoy Lash.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Edward Burbank officiating. Burial will be in Emmaline Stutts Cemetery.
