Native Of County Dies in Georgia.
William H. Fellows was Born Near Yellow Meeting House in Town of Stillwater.
News was received on Saturday, by Mechanicville friends, of the death of William H. Fellows, which occurred on Friday at Augusta, Ga. Mr. Fellows was born on the Fellows homestead, near the Yellow Meeting House in the town of Stillwater, and was about seventy years of age. He removed when a young man to Stillwater, Minn., where he resided until returning east about two years ago to attend Old Home week in his native town. He came east again last summer and was ill at Mechanicville for several months. Sent to the Troy hospital, he was subsequently discharged much improved in health and then left for the south, where he continued to improve until a few days ago, when he was taken seriously ill and died.
He was a brother of John R. Fellows, of New York city, and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Helen Fellows Little, of Mechanicville, and Mrs. Davenport, of Troy. The remains are expected to arrive at Mechanicville today or tomorrow for interment.
