Major League Baseball Player. A native of Lenoir, North Carolina, he made his major league debut on April 17, 1945, and played his final game on June 14, 1945. At 6'0, and 190lbs, he played for the Boston Braves in 1945. Cozart was inducted into the Caldwell County, North Carolina, Sports Hall of Fame in 1995.
