Nettie McKnight was born in the township of Wayne, Lafayette county, Wisconsin, April 25, 1881, and died at her home in Lena, Illinois, on the 11th day of March, 1921, at the age of 39 years, 10 month and 14 days. She was united in marriage to Roger A. Eastman, July 12, 1905. at the home of her parents in Wayne, near which nearly all her life was passed.
To this union three children were born- Gertrude, Evelyn and Esther, who with the husband and father are left to mourn the loss of a beloved wife and mother. She also leaves an aged father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. E.J. McKnight, two brothers and one sister, all living in or near South Wayne. One brother, Clifford, having preceded her to the Great Beyond.
The funeral services were in the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon. Burial was made in the Eastman cemetery.
