Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Griffith Funeral home, Wilton. Rev. Gerald Ukena will officiate and burial will be in the Oakdale cemetery, Wilton. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Born Jan. 30, 1893, at Washington, she was the daughter of John and Sally McFarland Neff. She had lived in Wilton 30 years.
Nora Neff married Charley McFarland in 1913. He died in 1936.
She married Adam Thurston June 11, 1943 in Missouri. She was a member of the United Brethren church.
Surviving are her husband, Adam Thurston, Wilton; a son, Earl McFarland, Davenport; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Stock, Donohue; Mrs. Carl (Mildred) Keppe, New Liberty; Mrs. Hans (Wilma) Stock, Davenport; 15 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, five brothers and one daughter.
