Recieved a e-mail Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from a direct descendent of James Hardgrave who has been researching him for about 25 years. I had two errors reported and wanted to make sure that others get correct information also.

1. his correct name is simply James Hardgrave.....not James V. Hardgrave. That "V" came about years ago because some researcher thought it would help separate all the James Hardgrave's if they were numbered. In this case, the V stood for the Roman numeral for 5. Unfortunately, lots of people have seen that and adopted it, but it is not correct.
2. It also states that Balzora was the daughter of James and Elizabeth, but that is also not true. Balzora was the daughter of James and his first wife, Louisa McKee Hardgrave, who died while Balzora was young. Elizabeth had no children with James Hardgrave.
Terry Hardgrave

Many thanks to Terry for correcting my errors so the memorial could be as accurate as possible.
