Survivors: father, Charles Knuth, rural Balfour; five sisters, Carolyn Knuth, San Gabriel, Calif., Mrs. Glen Olson, Crosby, Mrs. James Clauson, Grand Forks, and Mrs. Clarence Kubler and Mrs. Loren Fenner, both Minot; two brothers, Marlin, Minot, and Donald, Wheeler, WI. Results of an autopsy are being awaited by McHenry County authorities at Towner from a pathologist a St.. Joseph's Hospital in Minot regarding cause of death of Willis Knuth, 35, rural Balfour.
Thursday afternoon Dr. Henry Michaux, Bottineau veterinarian, saw Knuth's body lying along a fence line as he was driving by the Knuth farm about three of four miles north of the junction of US. 52 with ND. 14, according to Joseph McIntee, states attorney at Towner. Knuth, who was single, lived with his father, Charles Knuth. His mother died in February.
