Effie Pauline Sorensen Julian passed away peacefully on December 11, 2012, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She was born to James and Effie Nelson Sorensen on August 25, 1932. She married her sweetheart, Richard Parry Julian, on May 31, 1950, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Pauline was the youngest of 12 children. She worked hard on the family farm raising chickens. She worked for Nebo School District as the head baker. Her cinnamon rolls were sought after by many. She was a hard worker and enjoyed working side by side with her husband at Nature Sunshine after he retired from Geneva Steel. She also worked with her husband for many years at the Provo Utah LDS Temple.
Pauline is survived by her children: Crystal (Kent) Grover, Lehi, UT, Vickie Pauline (Robert) Erickson, Simi Valley, CA, Richard Lee (Lori) Julian Pleasant Grove, UT, Allen James (Kaleah) Julian, Enoch, UT, and Brent Parry Julian of Visalia CA, sisters Florence Sorensen Ewell, Salt Lake City, UT and Beth Sorensen, Salt Lake City, UT, her 22 grandchildren and her 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her eternal sweetheart Richard Parry Julian who passed on just 5 days before her passing. Parents and siblings Harriett Eliza Roese, Mary Anne Otteson, James Andrew Sorensen, Jr., Wallace McNeil Sorensen, Nettie Ardena McCausland, Franklin Lee Soresen, Mildred Lois Carter, Marion Justus Sorensen, and Catherine Sorensen.
