Funeral services for Vernon L. Ashby, member of the staff of the magazine of the Chicago Association of Commerce, will be held at 1:30 p.m., today in the chapel at 4920 Irving Park road. Burial will be in Acacia Park cemetery. Mr. Ashby, who was 48 years old, and lived at 2970 Sheridan road, died Saturday. He was a naval veteran of the first World War and a member of La Grange post, No. 41, of the American Legion. He leaves two sisters and three brothers.
