Lucian S. Ranck, 84, of Locust Grove Retirement Village, formerly of Mifflintown, died yesterday [20 Dec 1993} in the village.
He was retired from American Viscose Corp., Lewistown, worked for Brown Funeral Home, Mifflintown, and was a member of Juniata Emergency Team.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Pauline Lowrey Ranck; two daughters, Florence R. Myers of Mifflintown and Barbara E. Dysinger of Mifflintown RR 1; a brother, Warren Ranck Sr. of Thompsontown RR 1; two sisters, Queenie Dreese of Port Royal RR 2 and Esther Long of Fairless Hills; five grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Brown Funeral Home, Mifflintown. Burial will be in Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
