Bill was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Emlenton, to the late William D. and Mary Margaret Edinger Anderson.

Bill was a standout basketball player for Emlenton High School. Thanks goes to his special uncle, Les Edinger, who held Saturday basketball practice for all ages second grade and up. In his earlier years Bill was employed at Industrial Colloids. He was later employed for many years at the Quaker State Oil Refining Corp. (later Honeywell), all in Emlenton.

Bill was passionate about hunting deer and especially enjoyed hunting with his brother and nephew. He also enjoyed fishing anywhere, anytime. He was an avid golfer and member of Hi Level Golf Course and looked forward to golfing with his buddies Don, Dick and Barry. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending his niece Sarah's softball and basketball games and his nephew Andy's baseball and basketball games.

Bill was married Aug. 21, 1964, in St. Petersburg, to the former Nancy Smith whom Bill said "Was the best thing that ever happened to him."
