He is survived by his son, Thomas E. Harvell of Guntersville; daughter: Stacey M. Cleveland Hale of Arab; mother, Vera Lou Harvell of Arab; ex-wife, Martha Gail McBride of Arab; brother, James Harvell of Arab; sister, Martha Frances Harvell of Arab; grandchildren, Aaron Black and Brettlyn Harvell of Arab; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was was preceded in death by father, Charles Edward Harvell; and brothers, Jimmy Warren Harvell and Charles Harvell.
The funeral was at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Gober Funeral Chapel, with Tony Cox officiating.
Burial was in Gilliam Springs Cemetery, with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
