B.J. Boyd, 76, of Iowa Park, father of Acie Boyd of Dimmitt, died Nov. 25 in Wichita Falls.
Services were held Friday morning in Tanner-Aulds Funeral Home in Iowa Park with Rev. Hal Farnsworth, pastor of the First Baptist Church there, officiating. Burial was in Shamrock Cemetery.
A former resident of Shamrock, Mr. Boyd was born in Roswell, N.M. He married Nora Bell Shelton March 29, 1971, at Iowa Park. He was a retired farmer and rancher, and had lived in Iowa Park three years.
Other survivors include his wife; four other sons, Bobby of Dumas, Jackie of Euless, Lewis of Belen, N.M., and Johnny of Vernon; five stepsons, Tommy Moss, James Moss of Irving, Kenneth Frazier of Wichita Falls, Don Frazier of Wister, Okla., and James Frazier of Huntsville; three stepdaughters, Wanda Jo Kuhlman of Waldron, Ark.;, Shirley Rains of Holliday and Etta Mae Payton of Wichita Falls; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
