Rites Held for Mrs. Brothers
SHAMROCK, June 23 - Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Taylor Brothers, 80, were conducted today in the First Baptist Church by the Rev. J. E. Byers, pastor.
Burial was in Shamrock Cemetery, under the direction of Clay Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brothers, resident of Shamrock since 1911, died Saturday in Shamrock Hospital after a lengthy illness. She moved to Collingsworth County from Mangum Indian Territory in 1904.
Survivors include a step son, Charles Brothers of Shamrock; a step-daughter, Mrs. Edna Foster of Oklahoma City; two daughters Mrs. Mary Bearrow and Mrs. Maggie Porter; two sons, Robert of Cedar Hill, N. M. and Thomas (Tolly) of Aztec, N.M. ; two brothers, Seymour Taylor and Ashley Taylor, both of Chamal, N.M.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
