Mrs. Allen was born January 21, 1930 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Emery & Lillie (Conley) Patton, both preceding her in death.
Mrs. Allen married the love her life Ray Vernon Allen on May 10, 1947 in Hueysville, Kentucky.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Minnie E. Hamilton and one brother, Paul E. Patton. Survivors include two sons: Larry D. and Paul V. & Brenda, two grandsons: Thomas M. & Laura and Jeremie & Jackie Allen, two granddaughters: Heather Lynn Stephenson and Kimberly Sue Allen, one great -grandson: Jeffrey Stephenson, three great-granddaughters: Leah Michelle, Teagan Elizabeth and Adrian Elise Allen, one great-great grandson: Keely Allan Stephenson along with many nephews, nieces & friends.
Also surviving Mrs. Allen are two very special people in her life, her very dear brother in Christ Jeff Lawhun & Raymond Gene Ward whom she, by heart, adopted, dearly loved & referred to as her son!!
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 2:00 P. M. - 4:00 P.M. & 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 with her son, Paul V. Allen officiating & Pastor Herman King, James King & Larry Hill, Jr. assisting. Graveside service & burial will immediately follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
