Julia Amanda Lowe Dorman, my Great Grandmother, and Benjamin Franklin Dorman my Great Grandfather. Together they had 12 children; my Grandmother is the baby on Julia's lap in the family picture on the right. If anyone can tell anymore about Benjamin, Julia, or anything about the Lowe or Dorman families, please get in touch with me. I have one more picture of Nell Dorman with Julia that I will try to post, when Nell was a little girl. Thank you to all the relatives and especially the Dormans for the pictures I have been given. They are near and dear to my heart. These are the names of their children as I have them at this time:

I also want to say that my Grandmother, Marvie Leon "Dink", and her sister Grace "Sis", married two brothers; Dink married George Columbus Welch, and Aunt Grace married Austin Welch. So many of us are "kissing cousins."
I will also add, I do not have much info. about my GGrandfather, Benjamin F. Dorman; but as I look at his picture I can see that he has long slender fingers, appears to have long feet; I have one son who is 15 yrs. old at this time, his fingers are long and thin like mine and Benjamin's, and also my son has size 16 feet, still growing.
We did not know till we saw these pictures where these traits came from. God Bless Grandfather Dorman.
