Evelyn was the daughter of Alice Smith Evans and Clem Evans and the step daughter of William B. Branton
She was born in Shelby North Carolina on July 19 1920.
She married Hine Simpson of Renton Washington on December 8th 1941.
She died in September 1988 in Durham, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by one son Jimmy. She was survived by her husband Hine, Her sons Hine Jr,Jack,Tom,(now deceased)Carl and Ted and one daughter Evie. Numerous grandchildren and great grand children. Evelyn was a fortune teller as was her mother and her sisters.
She is missed by her children and grandchildren.
