She graduated with honors from Lamar High School and soon eloped with the "love of her life" Robert L. Perry. They were married for 65 years until his death in 2002 in Camden, Arkansas. They had moved there to be near their daughter and son-in-law for the last several years.
Pauline had many nicknames. Her early teenage friends called her "Sugar". Her husband called her "Putter" due to her aptitued to take take life easy and slow. The name that stuck was give to her by her first Granddaughter who named her "Goggie". The whole family and friends then took up that name for her.
Pauline was a beautiful person, inside and out, and loved by most who knew her. She was patient and kind had and enduring, quiet spirit. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. But her heart was with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Their earthly bodies will lie in wait at Lake Cemetery in their hometown of Lamar.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Perry Kyser and husband, Bill of Camden; granddaughter, Kid Taylor and husband, Ken of Dallas, TX and grandsons, Scott Kyser of Fayetteville, Chris Kyser and wife, Donyell of Camden and great-grandchildren, Brooks Perry Taylor, Mason Kyser Taylor, Julia Marie Kyser, and Christina Atchison.
Funeral services will be held 1:00p.m. Sunday, October 17 at Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, MO. Buriel will be in Lake Cemetery at Lamar. Visitation wil be 6-7p.m. Saturday at Daniel Funeral Home.
