Rites Set Today for Ad Salesman Raymond Buck
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon for veteran Star-News advertising salesman, Raymond Buck, 80, who died Wednesday.
Buck, who lived at 567 N. Holliston Ave., Pasadena, joined The Star-News in 1915. He retired eight years ago.
A native of Illinois, he had lived in Pasadena 65 years.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Ives & Warren Co., 100 N. Hill Ave., with the Rev. Dr. John M. Phillips officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Buck is survived by his wife, Blanche; one daughter, Mrs. Marian B. Odell; one sister, Lottie B. Porterfield and two grandchildren.
