EUGENE "TUFFY" JERRY FIELDS Tuffy Fields, 71, of Feather Falls, Oroville, passed away on Dec. 14, 2012. He was born Sept. 3, 1941 in Oroville to Walter and Maggie Fields. He was raised in Feather Falls and was a heavy equipment operator also in this area for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, gold prospector and talented wood carver. He was also an awesome Poppa. Survivors include sister, Frances Bushman of Oroville; brother, Walter Fields, Jr. of Soquel, CA; sons, Jerry Harker of Oklahoma, Jeff Fields of Oroville, Calvin Fields of Chico; stepson, William Slack of Oroville; 5 grandchildren, Shannon, Jonathan, Kamilah, Cheyenne and Madison; and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 12 noon at the Oroville Veterans Hall, 2374
