The Late Mrs. Philip Bergman
Mrs. Philip Bergman, one of the most respected residents of North Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Wednesday night at 12:30 at her home, 98 Madison street. Mrs. Bergman had been sick about two weeks and liver trouble was the cause of her death.
Mrs. Bergeman, who was 78 years of age, had been a resident of Wilkes-Barre for forty-five years. She was a good Christian woman and a faithful member of Kripplein Christi Church. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Henry of Buffalo, N. Y.; Martin of Wilkes-Barre; Elizabeth, Mrs. John Zullick of Weatherly, Pa., and Mrs. Dora Raeder and Mrs. Anna Frey of Wilkes-Barre.
The funeral will take place on Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Services will be conducted at the family residence by Rev. Voelker of Kripplein Christi Church, assisted by Rev. P. J. W. Pestke of Christ Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in the family plot at Hollenback Cemetery.
