(Lafayette) -- Mr. William F. (Bill) Andrews Jr., 74, of LaFayette died Monday, June 21, 1999, at his residences.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 24 at 11 a.m. at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in LaFayette. Burial will follow in LaFayette City Cemetery.
Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife, Jean Andrews of LaFayette; his daughter, Judy (Steve) Young of Opelika; his son, Buddy (Jennifer) Andrews of Waverly; his sister, Ruth Hardin of Isabella, TN; and five grandchildren.
Born Dec. 25, 1924, in LaFayette, Mr. Andrews was a member of First Methodist Church of LaFayette. He was a veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart. Mr. Andrews was retired from Morgan Drive Way as a truck driver with 20 years of service.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of East Alabama Medical Center in memory of Mr. Andrews.
Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette is handling arrangements.
