CARLETON - Funeral service for Doris Edith Diehr Carleton will be held 1:30 PM Saturday in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home with Gabe Goodman officiating.
Interment will follow in H. Warren Smith Cemetery.
Mrs. Carleton passed away Wednesday, October 6, 1999. She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church and former owner of the Carleton Motel in Neptune Beach.
Survivors include a son William Arthur Carleton; two daughters, Mrs. Bette Jean (Roger) Wadford and Patricia Ann (Fred) Sanders; three-half brothers Daniel Schanbacher,Otis Schanbacher and Merton Schanbacher; two half-sisters Ruth Batley and Nola Bellows; 10 grandchildren and 13 gr-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Carleton 1983; a sister, Lois Diehr Clarke, 1979; and a son, Richard Thomas Carleton 1999.
