.BIGGSVILLE, Ill — Paul C. "Buck" Thacker, 61, a Gladstone resident the past 35 years, died at S a.m Saturday, June 1, at Community Memorial hospital, Monmouth.
.He was born May 19, 1913, in Hillsboro to Clyde E. and Ella Riggins Thacker. He married Cecil Fern "Teedee" James in Rozetta June 14, 1937. Mr Thacker, a retired Iowa Army Ammunition plant machinist worked at Auto Body Co, in Burlington as a salesman. He was a member of Burlington Eagles Aerie 150 and the IOOF lodge in Oquawka.
. Surviving: The wife; son Terry, Gladstone, stepfather S.C. Hart, Harvey; one grandson.
.Funeral 2 p.m Monday, Sederwall chapel here, Rev Tom Brown of Gladstone United Methodist church. Oquawka cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Heart Fund.
