Delores Marie Dallman, 73, of Aitkin, formerly of Garrison, died Sunday, December 9, 2012, at her home.

Delores was born September 29, 1939, in Minneapolis, the daughter of William and Edna (Carson) Allie. She attended schools in Minneapolis and then attended the Mound High School. In the mid 1960s she moved to Garrison and operated Dee's Bait and Tackle shop for a number of years. She also worked for the Blue Goose for 31 years until she retired.

She moved to Aitkin in 2010. She had sold real estate for a short time. She enjoyed researching her genealogy and took trips to find long lost relatives. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing and still holds the record within the family of having gotten the biggest deer and biggest fish. She loved her home in the woods and loved to feed and watch the birds and wildlife that roamed in her yard.

She was a friend to many and loved to help others. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely, and especially loved to buy for them at Christmas time. She also loved to spend time with her sister Pat, going to garage sales and thrift stores. She loved a good bargain.

A memorial service was held Monday, December 17, from the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin with Rev. Larry Burg officiating.

Arrangements were with the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.
