A.P. Hampton passed away at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Foster at
Arcadia, California.
Mr. Hampton was one of Frankfort, Kansas
early day settlers and well known over the
county for many years operated the leading
hardware store in Marshall County, but for
the past few years had been in California.
He had been a invalid for several years.
Mr. Hampton's remains arrived on Tuesday
morning and funeral services were held at
T.F. Rhodes home in Frankfort. The
services were held with Dr. John M. Oliver
officiating.
He was laid to rest in the family lot at
Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
