4th Great-grandfather of Anne and Stephanie Marie Sturm, David and Alex Ognan of Albany, NY. He was also the father of Navy's Rear-Admiral Louis Kempff and my 3rd Great Grandmother Fredericka (Kempff) Berdeaux Zaehringer. He was born in Germany, along with his younger brother Dr. Wilhelm Kempff.
