The DOD from the SSDI only says September 1979. I show she married George H. Fahrbach. The 1930 census shows Bertha and her husband, as well as her sister, Kathleen Holt and Kathleen's son, Jack, and Amber's sister, Ann Hood, living with Amber. They divorced between 1940 and 1944 because they are in the 1940 census but his 2nd wife's FAG page says they married in 1944. I am told Bertha took her maiden name back after her divorce, so that is why Bertha's gravestone shows her maiden name. BUT her mother's obituary does list her as MRS. Bertha Puett! She lives at home in the 1950 census with her mother and is shown as divorced under the last name of Puett and her widowed sister Louis Ridlon lives with them. If anyone has more information on this family, please let me know. The last name Puett is added twice because FAG would not let me add a maiden name only!!!! She is my 1st cousin 2x removed.
