James Doyle "Tiger" Adams, 84, Died on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Oak Tree Plantation in Amory.

Born July 8, 1928, he was a Son of the late L. Owen and Jane Myrtle Skelton Adams.

He was a Graduate of Amory High School and he Attended Itawamba Junior College.

Before his Retirement, he Worked for True Temper Sports.

Having a Love for Children and Sports, he later Worked for the Amory Park and Recreation for many Years where he Umpired Countless Ball Games and Coached many Children.

He Enjoyed Visiting with Friends and Sitting at Walmart and McDonald's.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; and a Baptist.

He was an Avid Ole Miss Football Fan.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:30 P.M.. Wednesday at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes and Bro. Tommy Whaley Officiating.
Burial will be in Haughton Memorial Park.

Survivors include One Daughter, Patricia Carol Adams of Cordova, TN; Two Sons, Jimbo Adams and Wife, Kathy, of Greenwood Springs; and Brett Adams of Oxford; One Sister, Minnie Mae Adams of Amory; Two Grandchildren, Jeremy Adams and Taylor Adams; Two Step Grandchildren, Jamy Jones; and Brittany Jones Seal and Husband, Almon; One Great Grandchild, Ayden Brock Adams; Two Step Great Grandchildren, Bella Kate Jones and Dixie Seal; and Nieces and Nephews, Danny Russell, Burt Adams, Robert Adams Jr., Carl Adams and Sam Adams.

He was Preceded in Death by his Parents; One Brother, Robert "Bobby" Adams; and One Sister, Ernestine Russell.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Russell, Jared Walden-Leavell, Justin Derrick, Tracy West, Larry Leavell and Rusty Culver.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Bobby Jones.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. today and will Continue until Service Time on Wednesday.
