Charles Ralston was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 29, 1932, to Kelly and Anna Augustine Ralston. He passed away on December 11, 2012, at his home in Vickery Towers Assisted Living Community, Dallas, Texas. Charlie proudly served his country for twenty-two years in the U.S. Air Force before retiring and moving his family to Dallas. As a member of the National Air Force Rifle Team, he was one of the top marksmen in the United States, having earned many honors and medals during his military career.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann Zaruba; and daughter, Cathy Ralston Kennemur. He is survived by his three sons, Michael, Thomas and wife, Brenda, and John and wife, Valerie; two daughters, Lisa Perdue and husband, Brad, and Kelli Hard and husband Norm. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Brandon, Mary, Caitlyn, Brianna and Weston; one great-grandson, Eli; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Linda Ralston and Roland and Joyce Ralston; and one sister, Janet Miller.

Graveside Service with full military honors will be at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012, in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
