Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer (Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois), Thursday, April 18, 1974:
   Albert A. Adamick Sr., 79, of rural Collinsville died at 12:10 a.m. today in the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Quincy.
   Mr. Adamick retired from the Granite City Army Depot in 1955.
   He was born on April 21, 1894, in St. Louis, Mo.
   Surviving are sons Raymond C. Adamick of Collinsville and Albert W. Adamick Jr. of Highland, daughters Mrs. Theodore (Marcella) Fronchek of Collinsville and Mrs. Irvin (Dorothy) Helmer of Highland, a sister, Mrs. Catherine Gregor of Edwardsville, and 10 grandchildren.
   Mr. Adamick was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Leighton Evatt American Legion Post 365, VFW Post 5691, World War I Veterans, and First Catholic Slovak Lodge No. 109, all in Collinsville.
   Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home in Collinsville. A Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
   Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville.
   Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Collinsville.
