She was the daughter of A. Clair and Vallie (Jackson) Elder and married Fred Luna - 08 Mar 1943 - Madison Co., Alabama. She later married Hally Lee McLin. Her obituary follows:

Funeral services for Mrs. H. L. McLin were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. Wayne Wiman and the Rev. Carroll Hickman. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. McLin, the former Elaine Elder, passed away Saturday, Decmeber 11, at the Huntsville Hospital after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Mrs. Vallie Jackson Elder and the late A. C. Elder, Sr. and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband and her mother include on daughter, Mrs. Bill Roland of Fayetteville; two brothers, A. C. Elder, Jr. of Fayetteville and Captain Joe D. Elder of San Antonio, Texas; and three grandchildren.
