William J. Barkman
Lockport, N.Y.
William J. Barkman, seventy-nine, formerly of North East, died Wednesday in the IOOF Home, Lockport, N.Y., after a short illness. He formerly resided with his brother in law Arthur Alcorn, R. D. 4, North East. He was a painter and carpenter.
He is survived by one daughter, Miss Marion Barkman, North East.
Friends may call at the Marks funeral home, North East, where services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. The Rev. I. M. Shreve of the North East Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in Phillips cemetery, North East.

A death certificate for his daughter unnamed Barkman who died June 27, 1918 names parents W. J. Barkman and Gertrude Alcorn. And she is buried at North East PA.
