Private funeral services were today in the Pletcher Funeral Home, for Charles Cerentano, 80, of Evansville, Ind., who died Saturday in the Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home in Evansville.
Rev. William Maul of St. Boniface Catholic Church conducted the services. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Cerentano was survived by nieces mrs. Lena Catalano, Mrs. Robert Ax and Mrs. George Lautner, and a nephew, Anthony Giardina, all living in Edwardsville.
He was born Nov. 4, 1894, in St. Louis, a son of the late Giecomo and Frances Sansona Cerentano.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
