Norfolk-Mrs. Ada Jones Parsons, 82, widow of Lilia Elias Parsons and daughter of J. Leon and Mrs. Annie Whitehurst Jones, a native of Deep Creek, Norfolk County, and a resident of Norfolk 65 years, died in her home at 602 W. 29th Street Friday.
She was a member of Christian Temple.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank R. Powell of Norfolk; four sons, Adolphus J. Murden, Edward W. Parsons, Vernon Lee Parsons and Earl Linwood Parsons, of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Susie Sykes of Portsmouth; and nine grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home to Cedar Grove Cemetery for a funeral service at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Frank R. Hamilton of Christian Temple. The family will be at 1422 Sweet Briar Ave., Lakewood.
