Buddy was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He took great pride in his rose and vegetable gardens. Teaching his grandchildren how to fish and garden brought Buddy great pleasure; he was very proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them participate in a various sports. Buddy also enjoyed training dogs; his constant companion through his illness was his yellow Labrador retriever, Toby.
Buddy is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Maureen; his children: Michael and his wife, Jennifer of Berkshire, NY; John and his wife, Maria of Mountainville, NY; and Christine O'Neill and her husband, Thomas of Albany, NY. Buddy has five beloved grandchildren: Michael, Emily, Julia, Ian, and Perri Anderson. Buddy is also survived by two siblings, nieces and nephews.
