Cecil Howard Bear, 83, of New Waverly, Texas passed away on Nov. 15, 2006, in Huntsville. Mr. Bear was born in Marlin Falls, Texas on May 6, 1923, to Asa and Lela Mathis Bear whom preceded him in death. Also preceding was him was his son, Steven Ray Helm. He is survived by his daughter N son, of Houston; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Bear will lie in state today from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. at the Huntsville Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at the Pine Prairie Cemetery.
