Born Sept. 10, 1912 in Heard County, Mr. Farmer was the son of the late William and Loumina Norwood Farmer. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and sold produce in Hogansville and LaGrange.
The funeral will be Sunday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. at the graveside at Hillview East Cemetery in LaGrange, with the Rev. R.C. Prescott officiating.
Survivors include his daughters, Kaydra Puckett of Ft. Polk, La., Kathy Lambert of LaFayette, La.; grandchildren, Logan Puckett, Jason Lambert; nephew, James Farmer of Hogansville; and nieces, Sarah Gosdin of LaGrange, Lucille Jean of Macon and Betty Jean Dodge of Schenectady, N.Y.
