SERVICES FOR PRATER CONDUCTED
Hardy P. (Sic) Prater, 83, Haworth, died Wednesday in DeQueen General Hospital in DeQueen, Ark.
Born Jan. 1, 1895 in Goodwater, I. T., he had lived in what is noe McCurtain County all of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Bertie, of the home; two sons, Mark and Bazz Prater, both of Haworth; two daughters, Joan Lucas of Konawa and Neva Brooks of Haworth; 14 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. today in the Philadelphia Cemetery near Goodwater, with arrangements and burial under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
