"Mr. T. J. Jackson, of Girard, is dead. He was one of the oldest printers in the state, and had been connected with The Columbus Enquirer-Sun for years. He was known throughout all East Alabama for his great works of benevolence and charity. He reached his allotted three score years and ten, and almost his last words were, 'I want to go home.' Peace to his ashes."
