Miss Sallie Caplinger Dead.
The death of Miss Sallie Caplinger occurred last Friday night at half past nine o'clock, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lizzie Geoghegan, in the Chestnut Grove neighborhood. Miss Caplinger was a daughter of George Caplinger, Sr. , deceased, and was born sixty seven years ago in the neighborhood where she died. She had been in bad health for several years, suffering excruciatingly at times of rheumatism. About six weeks ago she went to Martinsville, Ind., in hope that she might be cured. While there she contracted a deep cold and shortly after her return home pneumonia developed, and her death resulted. She was well known and highly esteemed in this county, and had a host of friends to mourn her loss.
