Retired Carrier Passes
SOMERSET—Funeral services for
Herman D. Shaw. 69. retired Barker
mail carrier, who died Wednesday
at his home on the Quaker road,
after an illness of six weeks, was
held at 2:30 this afternoon. The
Rev. P. Swartz will officiate with
burial in Somerset cemetery.
Mr. Shaw was a native of Wilson,
but had lived here for the past 38
years. He was a rural carrier for
many years, retiring four years ago.
He leaves his wife. Mrs. Ida Shaw;
a daughter. Mildred Shaw of Somerset,
a son, Devere Shaw of Buffalo
and a sister, Mrs. H. O. Wilson
of Wilson.
