Mrs. Burks was a resident of Arizona, California, Spain, South Carolina and Virginia. She enjoyed gardening, drawing, oil painting and creating paper sculptures using a 300-year-old French art form.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Burks and her daughter, Carolyn M. Dunn. She is survived by children, Geraldine M. Monterrubio, Thomas D. Burks, John R. Burks of Mountain View; and grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Gabriela and Rachel Monterrubio, and Jason and Kaleen Burks.
Interment was at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.
