ODESSA -- Freddye J. Brewer, 67, formerly of the Big Country, died Monday in a Midland hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Crescent Park Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, directed by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Brewer was born in Haskell, where she married A.C. Brewer in 1950, and moved to Odessa in 1953 from Abilene. She worked as a secretary for M&N Metals for 15 years until retiring in 1996. She was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Odessa; two daughters, Debbie Bates of Odessa and Leisa Brewer of Dallas; her mother, Pauline Kendrick of Palo Pinto; one brother, J.M. "Skip" Kendrick of Vega; and one grandchild.
